North Coast Medical Training College's first students receive diploma

Students have graduated for the first time since North Coast Medical Training College was established in 2012. The start of NCMTC was made possible in part by the Care4Kenya lustrum fundraising campaign of 2012 by the Hanze University Foundation.

The most striking message was that the graduates are pioneers of competency-based education, which is still very unusual in Kenya (and many other countries). These alumni will be representatives of the changes it will bring by sharing their knowledge and skills in various medical fields.

Two students were also present at the graduation ceremony, who were able to complete their training thanks to financial assistance from the Hanze University Foundation. Edwin Wekese and Nicton Mumbo can now contribute to better healthcare in Kilifi and other parts of Kenya.

Congratulations to the graduating students of North Coast Medical Training College for now becoming professionals!
