Summer School 2017 in the Netherlands

During the Summer School 2017, Hanze University of Applied Sciences and the Foundation welcomed nine talented individuals from Uganda, Tanzania, and South Africa, who would participate in various Summer School programs.
In April, Kasule Kibirige from Uganda was the first to arrive at the Zernike Campus. He participated in the International Week in Social Studies, where he followed an intensive program and also organized a guest lecture. We hope that Kasule had a great time during his stay and study at Hanze University of Applied Sciences!

 

In May, Rispa Ongito, Lucas Alfred, Nape Matheko, and Tanya Wainwright from Tanzania and South Africa participated in the Global Health and Quantified Self program, while Martin Kabanda, Godfrey Sempungu, Maria Mlundachuma, and Gilbert Mboya from Uganda and Tanzania had a great time at the Doing Business in Europe program. On Wednesday, June 7, 2017 they were special guests during the Inspiration Breakfast 2017 of the Foundation. We hope that they all had a great time during their stay and study at Hanze University of Applied Sciences!

 


Thanks to the contributions of generous donors like you, the Foundation was able to provide these nine Summer School participants with scholarships ranging from €2,100 to €2,800! We hope to be able to provide talented individuals with scholarships in the future as well!
