Scholarships for teachers of educational institutions in developing countries
Hanze University of Applied Sciences offers many English-taught semesters and programs that are of interest to our colleagues in developing countries. This concerns both the content of the study programs and the teaching methods that we use. In recent years, teachers from Uganda and Ghana have participated in these programs and put what they have learned back into practice at their own educational institution. With the 2013 Christmas campaign we wanted to raise money to give even more lecturers a chance to study at our university of applied sciences for a period of time.
Thanks to the donations of 528 generous Hanze University employees, four teachers from higher vocational education institutions in developing countries can participate in the Summer School 2014 this year, or even come and study for an entire semester! The total proceeds of the 2013 Christmas promotion amounted to €13,550.528 Hanze employees donated their Christmas gift to the Foundation.
